Pet Friendly Hotels

Traveling with a pet can be a hassle, and finding a hotel that allows pets (especially if your pet is over 30 lbs.) is even more of a hassle. These hotels will make you and your pet feel like you’re right at home.
Sheraton Hotels and Restorts allows dogs up to 80 lbs. in all its hotels across North America (except where local health codes prohibit them). Dogs over 80 lbs. and other pets may be accepted at the General Managers discretion. Each guest checking in with their dog gets a “welcome kit” with information about dog-friendly areas nearby and a few treats for your dog. Sheraton requires guests with pets to sign a special waiver.
Four Seasons allows small pets, under 25 lbs generally. Pets must comply with local legislation requirements, be kept on a leash when on hotel property (besides the guest’s room), and may not be left unattended. Four Seasons does not allow animals in any of the food outlets, health clubs, or pool areas.
Loews Hotels has no restrictions on pets in any of their 16 hotels across North America. They offer room service for pets and a large assortment of other services and goods. Forget your dog’s leash? They have you covered. Want a dog or cat bed? No problem. Their “Did You Forget Closet” is fully stocked. Don’t forget to pick up your complimentary bag of pet treats and a pet toy when you check in.
Quality Inns, by Choice Hotels charges a fee of $10.00 per night per pet. There are not other fees but there is a fifty dollar damage deposit which is refunded at check out if the room has no damage. Dogs are limited to fifty pounds and rooms are limited to three pets. Pets may not be left in the room unless they are caged. Choice Hotels has a similar policy for Rodeway Inn, and they also own Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites, MainStay Suites, Suburban, Econolodge, and Ascend Collection, although their policies may be different.
Red Roof Inn, by ACCOR Hotels, allows one well behaved pet per family at no charge. Pets must be declared at check in, and may not be left alone in the room.
